Scania Finans AB (SFA) is a financial services company within the business unit Scania Financial Services. We offer financing and insurance of Scania products through seven branches in the Nordic and Baltic countries. SFA is a financial services company under the supervision of the Swedish financial services authority Finansinspektionen. We currently have responsibility for 6 branches The company SFA has around 80 employees, of which half are located at the headquarters in Södertälje.

 

Job description

Since our financial controller is going to maternity leave we are looking for the replacement. The role of Financial Controller entails taking full responsibility for accounting and reporting for one or more of the company’s branches. This includes daily accounting and payments, monthly closings, group reporting, financial analysis, compiling and reporting the local annual report, and calculation and reporting of corporate income tax and VAT. The Financial Controller is also in charge of the contact with auditors and is responsible for the quarterly and annual audit package, supporting the branch manager and other branch colleagues in financial matters, and ensuring a correct and timely authority reporting to the country-specific financial services authority and central bank.

Job requirements

We are looking for a experienced candidate with ambitions to contribute to Scania Finans continued development towards becoming a business support function.

The candidate for this position will have:

  • A degree in business administration or similar
  • Good knowledge of accounting and reporting
  • Experience of improvement work
  • Good knowledge of lean mindset and methods
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Fluency in written and spoken Swedish and English
  • Experience from QlikView, reportsystem and Agresso, which is our main book, which is a merit

You need to be analytical as well as creative when it comes to finding the appropriate methods and solutions to problems, as well has easy to follow instructions and procedures.

You are used to working in an international organization, and enjoy working in a fast-paced and continuously changing environment. We think you are good with people showing interest and understanding.
