Debt Capital Markets FIG Originator i Stockholm

Debt Capital Markets (DCM) is a part of the Investment Bank unit within Swedbank LC&I and is responsible for advisory on capital market products towards the largest clients of Swedbank.

DCM focuses on debt products such as bonds, hybrid capital and commercial paper.

DCM enjoys a strong market position in the Nordic region and we are looking to grow further.

In this role you will be working in the FIG Origination team and towards both our internal and external clients.

You will be advising clients on DCM products across the capital structure (Bank Capital, Senior Unsecured, MREL debt and Covered Bonds/ABS).

It is essential that you can run client meetings on your own with deep knowledge of the DCM products.

The role includes, in preparation for client meetings, creating presentations in power point, with a meticulous approach, for yourself and other team members.

In addition, you will be using excel sheets/databases linked to Bloomberg with all market information.

You should be able to filter information what is important and not for the teams clients.
Strong communitive skills with a passion for delivering superior advice to the client focused on high quality and value add.

• Previous experience of DCM origination or other similar experience
• University degree or equivalent
• Deep knowledge of all forms of Bank/Insurance Capital, Senior Unsecured and Covered Bond product/market
• Teamwork skills
• Ability to generate ideas that are value added for the clients
• Ability to communicate ideas and recommendations effectively
• Candidate must be outgoing and strong understanding of the credit markets and value drivers for financial institutions
• A highly proficient knowledge of Bloomberg, Power-point, Excel, and the English language is mandatory along with excellent written, verbal skills
• Must be willing to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and intense work environment
• Travelling will be required in the Nordics and across the financial hubs in Europe
