Junior Accountant

We're looking for a Junior Accountant (80%) to join our Finance team in Malmö. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of accounting experience who wants to broaden their skills, gain hands-on experience across a wide range of accounting processes, and build a long-term career within Finance.

As part of our international and entrepreneurial organization, you'll work closely with experienced colleagues, gain valuable exposure across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Accounting.

About the Role

As Junior Accountant, you will be an important part of our Finance team, supporting day-to-day accounting operations and working closely with colleagues across the business. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient financial processes while gaining broad exposure to different areas of accounting.

This is a permanent part-time position (80%), reporting directly to the CFO. We offer a flexible workplace with a minimum of three days per week at our Malmö headquarters.
Your Responsibilities

You will:

• Process and post supplier invoices
• Prepare payment runs and handle supplier inquiries
• Process customer payments and receipts
• Monitor outstanding receivables and support reminder processes
• Assist with customer and supplier account reconciliations
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Support general ledger accounting and journal entries
• Participate in daily accounting activities and month-end routines
• Provide administrative support to the Finance team and other departments when needed

The role consists primarily of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Accounting and reconciliations, offering broad exposure across the finance function.

What We're Looking For

You have a genuine interest in accounting and enjoy working in a structured and detail-oriented way. You are eager to learn, take ownership of your responsibilities, and continue developing your professional skills.
Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Approximately 1-2 years of accounting experience
• Experience working with an ERP or accounting system
• Good Microsoft Office skills
• Professional proficiency in Swedish and English

It Is a Plus If You Have

• Higher Vocational Education (YH) in Accounting/Finance or a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Interest in process improvements and automation
• Basic understanding of financial controls
• Experience supporting audits or working with external auditors
