At ABB’s FACTS unit in Västerås, Sweden, part of the group’s Power Grids division, we currently have a vacancy for a Customer Service Specialist at our Global Service Center. The FACTS (Flexible AC Transmission Systems) technology enables power system owners to increase capacity in the existing power system while the electrical stability improves. As a result, more power reaches the customers at a minimal environmental impact, shorter project lead time and at lower investment costs. At the FACTS unit in Västerås, we develop and sell this groundbreaking technology to customers on the global market. Uppgifter :

Seize the opportunity to operate at the very center of events, with varying assignments throughout entire processes. Together with your coworkers, you will play a vital part in further developing our business, deliveries and customer relationships. This will, among other things, provide you with large networks, great insights and a global arena.

FACTS Customer Service, which includes upgrades, spare parts and warranty projects, order management and delivery of service contracts, is an area that continues to grow. As part of our experienced team, your main assignment will be to help our customers by:

• Managing customer queries and expectations
• Managing orders and their fulfillment in our systems – making sure orders are delivered by ABB’s vendors
• Making sure that deliveries and payments are made on time
• Managing order confirmations, invoices, protocols and service contracts
• Acting as one of our experts on delivery terms
•´Propose and implement process improvements in the collaboration with vendors on smaller orders.

Krav:

To excel in this position, you need to be organized, responsive and solutions-driven, with a strong focus on delivering high quality results and serving the customer. You have a positive mindset and you can collaborate well and create positive relationships with colleagues, vendors and customers. You also have experience of, and can handle, working under pressure and managing several tasks simultaneously. Experience from administrative work is a requirement, whereas a technical interest will be to your advantage.

ABB is a truly global company and fluency in English is required, written and spoken alike. Some knowledge of Swedish is beneficial but not required.
