MTGBusiness Controller i Stockholm

What we want you to do
As a Business Controller you will perform financial analyses of all aspects of the Viaplay business to enable informed business decisions. You will be highly involved in producing and reporting of weekly, monthly and quarterly KPIs including volumes, revenues, profitability and SAC. You will produce assigned business cases for content acquisitions, partnerships, packaging, pricing strategies and product developments to support the business with valid insight in how to move forward. You will participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes; modeling, forecasting and analysis of volumes and revenues. If necessary support financial controllers in closing, group reporting and audit processes, preparations of financial reports and perform other miscellaneous financial tasks.

What we can do for you
You will be part of an experienced financial team consisting of team of six employees. You will report to the Head of Finance Viaplay and work in close collaboration with Senior Business Controller. You will also be working on a daily basis with other parts of the organization.

What we ask of you
To excel really well in this position we expect you to be analytical and have the ability to see relations between business activities and financials. You need a high working capacity with ability to deliver accurately and timely. Your drive and ability to take initiatives will be highly valued. We expect you to tick these boxes:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or engineering
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience of business controlling, auditing or transaction services (we’d love to hear from you if you’ve been part of a major accounting or consulting firm)
• Solid finance competence
• Solution oriented, curious, prestige-less and dedicated mindset
• Value responsibility, fast pace teamwork and straightforward communication
• Have the motivation to constantly improve and achieve targets.
• Great communication skills
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong English skills, both spoken and written
