Om tjänsten

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Would you like to influence how our powertrain works in the future?

You now have an opportunity to take on a stimulating and challenging position involving analysis, simulation and implementation of control of current and future powertrains. In addition to challenging duties, the job also offers an environment featuring very competent engineers and that attracts the focus of the rest of R&D and Marketing. Our work ranges from customer requirements to control strategy. We answer why, what and how in relation to the entire powertrain.

We are currently looking for a communicative, technologically aware person, who can see the big picture, to join our group. The group’s responsibilities lie in developing and balancing the current and future properties of powertrains, mainly within the areas of driveability and energy efficiency. This responsibility involves understanding the powertrain’s componenets and control, and how these affect overall performance and create value for the customer.

Your duties

  • compile decision basis for R&D management

You will work closely with the vehicles in order to understand and improve driveability and energy efficiency in our future products. You will work on balancing properties, both in a simulation environment, but also in our vehicles.
