Software Engineer for BI Reporting SE i Stockholm

As a Software Engineer for BI Reporting, you will work in the team within the BI Reporting & Analytical Platform value stream with agile methods. In the role, your responsibilities includes ensuring that the BI reporting application environment is up & running during service opening hours. Analyze, design, develop, test and maintain services delivered by the team. Proactively reduce the technical depts. and suggest changes that include high level of automation. Deploy solutions that meet the quality standards of a modern reporting platform. You will work together with Software Engineers, Business Analysts and Architects both in the team and our Value Stream but also with different areas such as Swedish Data Warehouse & Infrastructure teams with collaborating and help to find proper & secure solutions. In addition, the role also includes technical application operation & maintenance. Dealing with incidents, identifying and propose changes in an understandable way. Supporting the Reporting value stream and architects with proactive work and give feedback on the delivered code to improve solutions over time.

In addition to being a Software Engineer, you are also expected to contribute with long term targets BI Reporting Analytics at Swedbank and participate in common work. You are ready and willing to learn new technologies and approaches to create the reporting standard of the future that will help business units and group functions at Swedbank to succeed in reaching the bank's 5 year wanted position.

• 1-3 years of experience with development software related roles within business, IT development or equivalent experience within infrastructure or Middleware Application operation & Integration.
• Relevant University degree
• Experience of application operation & Maintenance.
• Understanding of agile development procedures, data governance and BI service development methodology.
• Java or SQL Development
• Release & Change Management
• Fluency in Speaking & Writing English.
• Experience and technical competence within mainly Microstrategy but other reporting product is also valid. (SAP BO, Qlik or Power BI)
• You are self-motivated and have a can-do attitude and you are able to work both individually and with other people from different parts of Swedbank.
• Have a genuine interest to learn new skills and help others to succeed.
