Packaging and Label Specialist - Beauty team i Stockholm

We have a production office for beauty products situated in Stockholm. The team focus on the development for makeup/body/hair products, create greater business alignment and support the development process in supply chain of the production in Europe.

We are looking for a packaging and label specialist with interest in the beauty industry to join our production team in Stockholm.

Your main responsibilities would be:
  • To set structure and a plan going forward 
  • Further fine tune the work flow for development process, and if needed make changes.
  • Based on H&M sustainability target, set together the directives for our different cosmetic packaging materials.
  • Evaluate the current packaging base and identify potential improvements.
  • Plan and lead implementation of new packaging materials.
To drive running projects:
  • Be responsible for the components for running development and advise/provide information on the options available for packaging, materials, effects, finishes and techniques whilst ensuring the best price, quality and lead time.
  • Be business driven and utilize the aggregated packaging cost for all H&M group brands towards the suppliers.
  • Source and evaluate new sustainable packaging materials in line with H&M targets.
  • Implement and secure new solutions in production.
  • Provide technical advice to factories and support on solving quality problems.
  • Participate in risk assessment during the development process.
We are looking for you who: 
  • Hold an engineering degree within packaging/product development field
    Good understanding of different production processes for packaging and labels and the artwork process.
  • Have experience in working closely with suppliers.
  • Have great knowledge and experience within material, especially plastics and cardboard and understand sustainable issues within this field
  • Are always working in line with H&M values.
  • Have a genuine interest in beauty products and trends.
  • Are structured and organized.
This is a temporary 12 months position starting in February (with possibility to extension), based at our Production Office in Stockholm.
