Then you could be our next business project manager within the POS platform delivery within H&M Business development. This role will have extensive responsibility for fiscal and compliance requirements.
Business Development is responsible for global business development for H&M group, with 60+ online markets and our 4.600+ stores with the mission to continuously improve and modernize the customer experience. We do this by working cross functionally in close collaboration with other functions and the country organizations.
The POS platform lies within the check out in store area and our projects and solutions are global, covering all our stores, brands and markets.
As business project manager within the POS platform delivery your main
responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
• Be the business counterpart towards our IT department concerning the POS
platform.
• By cooperating with the countries secure that fiscal needs are picked up
in time, evaluated and decisions made to ensure that the countries have a compliant
solution within deadline.
• Responsible for coordinating and plan fiscal releases to secure smooth
implementation without affecting normal business.
• Main point of contact for market organizations and other central
stakeholders (especially accounting) for all fiscal, tax free and GDPR related
development in POS.
• Business contact towards principal suppliers.
• Evaluate if suggested solution is the best proposed in terms of
operational functionality and TCO.
• Verify that the developed solution meets business/legal requirements.
• Support development teams with business knowledge and follow-up on-going
development and implementations.
• Keep business stakeholders up to date regarding time line and roll out
for fiscal development.
• Secure follow up on solution performance, cost, business impact and
outcome.
• Escalation point towards IT.
A successful candidate should have the following
qualifications/experiences:
• A Master’s degree in business, economics and/or engineering.
• At least 3-5 years relevant work experience within check
out/POS/Payments/fiscal/compliance (preferably in a cross functional
environment).
• Strong customer focus and commercial thinking.
• Experience from working in the intersection between business and IT
(preferably within retail).
• Structured and strong planning and executing skills together with a can
do attitude and a self motivating way of working.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
