Financial Analyst FR&R i Sundbyberg

Financial Restructuring & Recovery (FR&R) is a specialized unit within Group Credit at Swedbank. Our task is to manage all corporate credits which show an unacceptable risk level, where the complexity requires specific expertise, and the overall aim is to reduce the credit losses for the bank.

FR&R Sweden consists of 15 members within roles as case managers, financial analysts, legal counsels and administrative staff. FR&R Sweden is an independent unit working closely with Corporate Banking, Structured Finance, Group Risk and other teams within Group Credit.

We are now looking for a highly talented and motivated individual to join our team as Financial Analyst.

The Financial Analyst forms an integral part of the FR&R case team. You will work closely together with experienced case managers and in-house lawyers actively engaging in communication with both external clients and stakeholders within Swedbank. As FR&R covers pan-Nordic clients, travels will be necessary from time to time.

The duties and responsibilities include:

• Credit analysis, financial modelling and company valuation
• Analysis, modelling and stress testing of viable financing structures
• Preparation of supporting data and financial analyses for contract negotiations and ongoing monitoring
• Involvement in discussions and negotiations with relevant stakeholders
• Ad-hoc projects from time to time
  
  

The analysts are involved in the entire process from preparation, execution to follow-up of each credit case as their expertise relates to all services offered by the business unit.

This is a temporary position, tentatively from 2019-01-01 to 2020-01-01.

Personal characteristics: Analytic mindset, holistic approach, excellent communication skills both oral and written, strong integrity and the ability to multi-task.

Critical competences: Excellent Excel skills, accounting and financial modelling knowledge

Professional fluency in both oral and written Swedish and English is prerequisite for this position.

A successful candidate likely has two to five years of experience from:

• Experience from Big 4 firms;
• Corporate or structured finance experience;
• Experience from restructuring and recovery; and/or
• Project Manager
