Internal Audit Manager to the Swedish Banking Audit Team i Sundbyberg

GIA is now looking for an Internal Audit Manager to the Swedish Banking Audit Team. The Audit Team is responsible for the audit of Swedish Banking processes according to its mandate and governance instruction.

Our new Manager who reports to the CAE will

• be a skilled auditor (at least 5 to 15 years of experience in the field)
• participate in the Group Internal Audit Management Team (GIAM)
• take an active part in the continuous improvement of the Audit Processes and development of standard audit programs
  
  

As a Manager you will

• actively lead all audit related processes, including the development of the Swedish Banking portion of the annual Internal Audit Risk Assessment as well as the development and execution of the Swedish Banking audit plan
• ensure that the Audit team is organized and acts in compliance with relevant external and internal regulations and guidelines
• perform general administration of staff including recruitment, salary review and redeployment
• manage staff, including coaching, performance and competence development
• actively take part in the GIAM and participate in work groups as assigned
• have a group mind-set, live and promote our values, and be independent and objective
• provide audit expertise for the Group Internal Audit Department
• for highly complex audits, plan and perform risk-based audits
• actively engage in business unit relationships to maintain an awareness of changes to business risk profiles, and to educate and promote audit client's awareness of controls and accountability
• maintain sufficient knowledge of audit and the Bank's operations and applicable laws and regulations with regard to the Swedish Banking processes
  
  

• Hold a Master's Degree in business administration or a similar field
• Has CIA or equivalent
• Has strong knowledge of and experience in the Financial Services industry from an Audit / Risk background
• Is fluent in Swedish and English languages.
• Has excellent business acumen
• Has strong interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all levels of management and staff
• Has skills in project management
• Is a team player, who takes responsibility and initiative
• Has organizational and supervisory skills necessary to motivate, develop, train, and supervise audit staff
• Has broad understanding of internal controls and risk management.
• Has strong audit skills as well as comprehensive understanding of risk-based auditing and audit techniques.
