Db2 Infrastructure Engineer i Stockholm

We are looking for an experienced Db2 for z/OS system programmer. The Db2 team is part of the Platform Development Techstream in Group IT. The team consists of System Programmers, Database Designers and DBAs. You will work closely with other skilled Db2 for z/OS system programmers and DBAs in a positive and pro-actively thinking team.

In the role you will be working with lifecycle management of Db2 for z/OS subsystems and tools, resiliency, performance and tuning, security, automation, act as a subject matter expert in all technical issues, improvement of standards and documentation.

We have started our agile journey which means that we work with a prioritized backlog in short sprints.

Being on-call every four weeks is part of this role.

• Minimum of 6 – 8 years of experience
• A proven capability to solve complex problems and work independently with a large Mainframe installation.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Relevant university degree or relevant experience
• Analytical skills
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

As a manager I like to be close to my team. I have worked at Swedbank for quite a number of years and share my managerial responsibilities with Db2 database work. We have a culture of knowledge sharing and everyone is ready to help out whenever there is a need for it.
