The Global Expansion department is responsible for all current and future stores in the H&M Group world-wide (4900+ Stores). The Expansion team drives all aspects of creating our H&M stores, i.e. to lease, design, draw, buy, and build each store.
The NCG supply chain team is a part of the largest department within global expansion. The responsibility of the department stretches from design, to in store delivery, of products such as flooring, lighting, interior, visual products for windows and marketing material. We are now looking to further strengthen our team by adding a supply chain engineer. This role will ensure the right supply chain (from a cost, lead-time and sustainability perspective) per market – taking into consideration the needs of the store and the 71 markets.
As a supply chain engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, suggesting and implementing the best solution from a TCO (total cost of ownership) perspective and align the solution with relevant stakeholder. You will have to understand the different needs and demands from multiple stakeholders in a broad network to ensure that the solution that fits the business need.
Main Responsibilities

Ensure the best supply chain solution (lead time and cost perspective) for NCG goods per type of flow.

Ensure TCO perspective is included in the sourcing organization’s strategies for upcoming years.

Synchronize with global logistics to ensure commitment on suggested future setups

Work in close collaboration with the supply chain developer to ensure:
Education & Experience

Minimum 5-10 years professional work experience
-
Master’s degree in International Business, Economy, Logistics or similar

High knowledge from working in Excel
-
Previous work with network analyses
-
Experience of studying/working outside of Sweden is a merit
