Innovation team to Digital Transformation Office i Järfälla

As part of Saab Group ICT, the Digital Transformation Office is a newly established function with the task to support digitalization within Saab. Our focus lies on internal processes where we aim to both optimize current ways of working as well as transform operations and enable new business by using digital technologies such automation, AI, open source and Cloud. Since the function is just established, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of building something new and important for Saab!

At the Digital Transformation Office you will work closely with both Saab’s business and IT-functions including external partners and suppliers. Your main tasks will be to:
- scan the market for digital technologies with potential to be part of Saab’s digital optimization and transformation
- work in close cooperation with partners and suppliers to find best fit candidates for further evaluation and proof of concepts
- manage innovation initiatives and proof of concept work in order to identify the digital technologies and solutions that should be part of the IT service catalogue
- work in close cooperation with IT Product Management and IT Architecture to ensure that digital technologies and solutions with good potential can be transformed in to IT-services creating business value
- communicate with various parts of Saab’s business to inspire and create awareness of digital solutions and to find potential areas of interest for digitalization and automation
- help the business identify digital opportunities by matching business and process analyses with digital technologies, e.g. automation through AI/Robot Process Automation
- support projects and assignments for implementing digital solutions in Saab’s business
Since the Digital Transformation Office is a new function you will also be heavily involved in defining and further developing the function itself, ways of working etc.

We are looking for a technical innovator and digital expert with an eye for matching technology with business potential. You have an overall business understanding and a strong interest in digital technologies and how they can be used to enable both business optimization and transformation. You have drive, goal orientation and deliver excellent results. At the same time you are flexible, humble and spread positive energy.

You have experience working with digital technologies and innovation. Your educational background is an MSc in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent.

Some tasks may include defense secrecy. In such circumstances, you are required to conduct a security screening in accordance with the Protective Security Act and be approved for security clearance by the authority.
