Production Manager Cab Production, Oskarshamn

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

We are seeking a new production manager for our painting facility in Oskarshamn. In this position you will oversee the transition to a new, modern painting business with a focus on efficiency and capacity. The current priority is to secure a new normal state of affairs using our SPS methods. We are now looking for someone who wants to help lead this development!

Your duties

An important task will be to continue to develop the production process and approach to work in our painting facility in close cooperation with the maintenance organisation and SPS office within Scania Oskarshamn. You will participate in creating a challenging and inspiring environment where key words such as energy and cooperation characterise the relationship between employees, colleagues and customers. All to ensure our work is taken to the next level. As a Production Manager, you will have overall responsibility for personnel, quality, work environment and financial issues within production and production engineering. You will be part of the management team, and will report to the site manager. 

Your profile

Applicants should have deep and extensive experience of personnel management and need to be well versed in Scania’s production processes and methods for operational control and follow-up. You will be organised, results-oriented, have an analytical outlook and good communication skills in both written and spoken Swedish and English. Other languages would be an advantage. As a manager, you need to be inspirational and have a recognised skill in further developing, motivating and training your employees.

You should have a college qualification in engineering or have acquired equivalent knowledge and experience in other ways. Personal suitability is particularly important. Experience in a similar position would be an advantage.
