Uppgifter :

You will be part of our R&D department at HVDC, within the division Power Grids in Ludvika. We are focusing mainly on Hardware, Software and System design working in close collaboration with the global organization. We are now looking for enthusiasts who would like to strengthen our teams. Our open positions are:

Electronics Component Engineer

In this role you will work closely with the electronics design engineers during the development of new products. Part of your scope will be to provide support in the development phase when it comes to analyzing and making sure that the selection process of new products has a life cycle perspective. Another task will be to have close contact with the component manufacturers and our supply chain department to make sure that the selected components are technically correct as well to eliminate single sourcing of components. You will also work in interaction with a PLM System to secure that the technical component data is correct and up to date.

Power User - Teamcenter (PLM/PDM)

As Power User for Teamcenter you will have the responsibility to support, develop and train users about Teamcenter’s general functionalities as well as new features and improvement. You have an important role and will support all functions within HVDC with focus on mechanical, electronic and components engineers. It is part of your scope to come up with improvement ideas, secure an efficient work process related to PLM and eCAD integration, as well as be part of the testing of new implementations.

Product Data Engineer (HW PLM & HM Engineer)

As our Product Data Engineer you will work with all product development teams with focus on printed circuit board assemblies. Your scope will among else be to structure documentation in a PLM System, participate in the review of designs, secure a component that is environmentally approved and has a life cycle perspective. Making sure that approved and compiled software files are added in the product structure for distribution to production is also part of you scope. You will also interact with the manufacturers to provide instructions and correct documentation. To work with a PLM System to secure that the technical component data is correct is another task.

FPGA Design Engineer

As a FPGA Design Engineer you will work on complex functions where high performance, availability and robustness are key elements. Example designs are proprietary high speed optical communication protocols, high-speed buses, EtherCAT, data collection, filters and functions for HVDC control and protection. The team works with challenging tasks in an agile set-up and in a modern environment where both rapid prototyping and productification takes place.

Electronics Hardware Development Engineer

In this role you will be responsible for creating robust designs within the cost limits. The design responsibility includes a product life cycle perspective. The work tasks require deep understanding of analog and/or digital electronics. The work also includes theoretical as well as practical tasks and the design work includes requirement management and development of design specifications. You will collaborate with different stakeholders, both internally and externally where speed of response is key. A deep interest in electronics is necessary for this position.

Electronics Product Verification Engineer

As product verification engineer you will strengthen our team that develop advanced electronics for HVDC and FACTS control and protection systems, from idea to final product including verification and validation. Your mission will be to plan and perform unit verification and environmental testing, which is mainly based on Standard IEC 61000-6-5. Another important part of your work will be to produce test reports. Electronics Manufacturing & Supply Coordinator

You will be a part of a team working in the interface to our electronics manufacturing partners and our supply chain organization. Your main responsibility will be to secure an open and transparent dialogue with our manufacturing partners. The target is to maximize up time of our production lines and minimize delays in case a line is down due to technical and or material supply reasons. Your main tasks will among else be to monitor both manufacturing supplier and product orders. This for e.g. includes having meetings with suppliers and securing that orders are delivered. Another task is to minimize risk of production stops due to lack of material, handling quotations from manufacturers with regards to changes of our manufacturing lines as well as to work with product quality related questions.

All positions require a technical university degree with specialization in a relevant field. We seek you who has work experience as well as you who are at the starting point of your career. Regardless of experience, you should have an interest in electronics and development of new products. For some positions, PLM-knowledge is required while for some it is considered a plus.

As you will be part of a global business, fluency in English is required, written and spoken alike. Proficiency in Swedish or other languages is a plus.
