Swedbank is in the middle of a large transformation where the bank quickly needs to adapt to fast-paced innovation and change in customer expectations. Digital Banking is in the center of this journey and is in many ways driving the change. CFO & Operations is an important part of Digital Banking.

Digital Banking is responsible for customer experience, innovation, development and maintenance of channels and tools used in customer interactions. The organization consists of around 650 employees spread over all our home markets. Digital Banking is a rapidly growing unit and we are quickly becoming one of the most important strategic areas of the Swedbank Group.

The CFO & Operations unit is an integral part of Digital Banking, having the responsibility for finance, risk, management support and strategy coordination.

In this position you work as a controller for the unit and participating in the Digital Banking Finance team. The position reports to Head of Finance and Risk Digital Banking.

Key tasks include:

• Cost steering
• Follow-up and forecasting
• Finance and accounting expertise to the Management team
• Accounting structures for P/L in HBO, SU, Cognos
• Business cases and value realization follow-up
• Cost allocation internally in Swedbank and toward the Savings banks
• Ad- hoc analysis
  
  

The ideal candidate has:

• Solid experience in business controlling and experience from presenting financial information in a pedagogical manner
• Preferably accounting experience
• Experience with the larger financial framework of the bank, i.e stakeholder management
• Strong analytical skills
• Good planning and prioritizing skills
• Excellent Excel skills, and good PowerPoint and Word skills
• The process of reporting and reconciliation
• Experience in Agile way of working
  
  

Other qualifications for the roll:

• A university degree within Finance/Business Administration
• Experience from relevant role/-s related to finance
• Interest and are eager to learn/understand root causes
• A proactive and pragmatic approach
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
