Do you want to be a part of a historic transformation phase? We are looking for a release coordinator that can manage, coordinate and follow-up on our releases.


The fashion industry is changing fast and this means that in addition to maintain the existing solutions, we have new, fun and innovative projects going on. Projects with focus on the customer experience and seamless shopping between online and store. The team works close with other countries and business and you will be part of forming the future shopping experience.


Division Sales Store is responsible for the development and delivery of IT systems in stores across the H&M Group. The POS-team is responsible for the IT service for POS for all H&M group brands and countries excluding franchise. The team includes Requirements Analysts, Architects and Release Coordinators and manages all business development for POS. We have the responsibility for requirement analysis, design and scoping of new POS releases, working closely with our POS suppliers and internal stakeholders.


As a release coordinator you will be responsible for planning, coordination and rollout of new requirements or defect fixes of our POS system in all H&M countries.


The growing complexity of the solutions and many dependencies to other systems in a global context requires a specific focus on the release coordination activities in the release projects. Most of the changes are collected in large releases but as a complement we also release in an agile, faster pace. These minor releases are handled by the Release Coordinator. The challenges include the planning, coordination and management of several minor releases and rollouts.


Your responsibilities


  • Coordinate all system changes required for the release
  • Plan and drive activities in the release plan together with the team
  • Follow up on the release plan together with suppliers and other stakeholders
  • Handle relevant dependencies to other systems and stakeholders
  • Identify priorities, conflicts, dependencies and risks, and ensure plans are in place to mitigate risks
  • Close cooperation with the other members of the team, business representatives, countries and suppliers


Your skills

And your skills include:


  • 1-3 years’ experience of release coordination of IT systems
  • Experience from facilitate meetings both internally and externally
  • Used to working with external providers
  • Experience with ITIL is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills in speech and writing in both English and Swedish
  • Computer Science degree


As a person you are solution- and result-oriented with the ability to organize and create structure. You are a diplomatic team player and can build good relationships.


It is beneficial if you have experience of development of integrated solutions in large enterprise architectures and experience of retail and/or POS systems.


The work is located in Stockholm and it is a full-time position. Some travel may occur.
