What maker pattern making at H&M exciting?
At H&M it´s all about teamwork! You work at our Head Office in Stockholm, together with Buyers, Designers and Business Controllers, developing new collections for all H&M sales markets globally. Now you have the chance to be a part of one of our great teams, Girl’s Outdoor. The goal is to create the best outdoor assortment and be the number one choice for our girl customer!
We are now looking for a Pattern Maker who will join our outdoor and license team at the Girls Division. As a Pattern Maker you are responsible for securing the best fit for a large variety of clothing - both outdoor garments as well as the license collection. You work with both the small and the big girl customer (age 2-14 year) and learn how the body grows and develops as small children gets older. You will handle a broad variation of qualities, both woven and jersey, as well as functional details and materials. Our ambition is to become the number one retailer within this product group and we are looking for you who are engaged, passionate, creative and have the drive to lead us to that goal!
We believe that you as a succesful Pattern Maker to Girl's Outdoor have a great drive and energy – always looking to improve the product. You are a true team player but has a strong ability to work on your own and take decisions. You enjoy solving problems and work in a high pace while still being accurate with a strong attention to detail. You are open minded and have a positive attitude, as well a great sense of fashion and style - keeping yourself up to date with the latest trends!
We also would like you to:
- Have a 3 year degree in pattern making, sewing and design courses
- Have at least 4 years of experience from working as a Pattern Maker within women’s wear or children’s wear
- Have knowledge of Lectra or any other computerized pattern making program (this is only a plus and it should not put you off from applying as we have internal training)
- Speak and write fluent English
- Grading knowledge
- Experience working with production and knowledge with sewing techniques
