Scania is part of the TRATON Group and is the lead function within Pluralism & Inclusion. At Scania, Labour Affairs Development has developed the Skill Capture concept, a unique method to work with pluralism (diversity) and inclusion by raising awareness and innovating ideas for change. Skill Capture has been decided by the TRATON board to be a strategic way forward to ensure that we have the right skills and the right competences in order to become a global champion. Skill Capture as a concept will now be rolled out within the TRATON Group which requires a reinforcement of the existing Labour Affairs Development team.
Labour Affairs Development (XLS) is a part of Labour Affairs which is one of the four defined areas that operate within Scania Corporate HR. In addition to Labour Affairs Development the department covers the areas Labour law and Labour Relations. Labour Affairs Development’s main mission is the development of Scania as an employer, with a focus on ensuring people sustainability.
Job description
During the implementation project you will be the main contact for our TRATON Group colleagues, providing expert advice and guidance on rollout as well as other Pluralism & Inclusion matters. A big part of your work at XLS will be to plan, implement and develop P&I, TRATON’s global framework for Diversity and Inclusion. This will be done across the TRATON Group globally (MAN, Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus and TRATON). This is a temporary position for 18 months, stationed at Scania, Södertälje with global travelling required across the TRATON group.

Your profile
The mission requires strategic, operational as well as administrative skills. A genuine interest in and sharing of TRATON Group’s values, as well as a passion for P&I as TRATON defines it, is a key to success. To succeed in this role you also need to be good at establishing relationships and it is a clear advantage if you are comfortable speaking in public.
You have an academic degree or other relevant education/skills or experience. Good knowledge of project management is crucial. You should have good knowledge of the HR field and an experience of working with sustainability in the labour practices area. It would be an advantage if you also have experience working in a large company and with people from other cultures. If you have an existing network within the TRATON Group, this would be a benefit.
When it comes to communication you need to be fluent in English and preferable also in German, as well as having good communicative skills.
The assignment is temporary (18 months) and stationed in Södertälje, Sweden. Terms and conditions will be discussed. Startdate as soon as possible.
