In this role you lead the product marketing team within the Paradox Interactive management segment, which includes games like Cities: Skylines, Surviving Mars and Prison Architect as well as upcoming, as yet unannounced projects.

Reporting directly to the VP Marketing, you hold overall responsibility for all marketing plans within the segment and for enabling your team to execute on them with best possible results. You also work closely with your counterparts in production and product management, providing a marketing perspective on portfolio strategy and planning for your segment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of product marketing managers to achieve outstanding results on assigned projects.
• Work closely with product management and production on portfolio planning and strategy, providing a marketing perspective.
• Work closely with marketing discipline heads (PR, community management, performance marketing, CRM, sales/partner management) to ensure teams are aligned and working towards common goals for your segment.  
• Validate marketing plans, including positioning and go to market strategy, ensuring maximum synergies and enabling your team to execute all key beats (announcement, pre-order, release, post-release etc) with best possible results.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience of digital marketing, most likely from a product marketing or brand management role within the video game space.
• Strong communicator and experienced staff manager with an ability to inspire and align teams towards ambitious goals.
• Familiarity with the games published by Paradox Interactive, and a passion for strategy and management games in general, will be considered a big plus.

As an individual, you are an experienced team lead and project manager who is not afraid to think big. You are able to combine high-level strategic thinking with operational project management, and you have a knack for motivating and aligning teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
