Your future responsibilities

You’ll join Group Risk, where our team vision is to become the leading Risk Team in the digital era and where our team purpose is to guard the Nordea Purpose and Values by advising, controlling and balancing risks.
 
In Group Risk, we are looking for Graduates for two teams:
 
GMCCR Reporting team, where you´ll work with:
 
  • Build and maintain first class processes and controls for Market Risk and Counterparty Credit Risk reporting
  • Be part of building state of-the art front end solutions for analysis, control (incl. limits and risk appetite) and reporting
  • Join projects ensuring regulatory TRIM and RDARR (BCBS239) compliance
Financial Reporting Risk team, where you´ll work with:
 
  • Perform testing procedures in order to provide an independent view on the effectiveness of internal control over financial reporting
  • Partner with various key stakeholders across Nordea and seek to provide valuable insight both to drive process improvement and to minimise the potential for financial misstatement
  • Assist with the production of reports and dashboards for presentation at BAC and GEM level
The role as Market and Counterparty Credit Risk Manager is based in Copenhagen and the role within Financial Reporting Risk is based in Copenhagen or Stockholm. Welcome to a team which gives a unique opportunity to work across different risk areas.

Your profile and background:
 
  • A Master’s degree within Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, or similar
  • A maximum of two years’ post-academic work experience
  • Excellent English language skills
  • You have an open mind, a strong will to learn and dare to exploit new territories outside of your comfort zone
  • You have a flavour for understanding the macroeconomic and political environment and the potential implications hereof for the risk of Nordea’s customers
  • Programming skills is an advantage (e.g. SQL, VBA, Python, Java)
