We are looking for Senior Analyst to further enhance, develop and maintain the current Fund Reporting systems and interfaces. We offer the opportunity to combine an interest in finance and IT to support the Nordea Asset Management division.  
 
The role sits within a team of finance and IT experts who strive daily to provide the best data deliveries to the asset management business. Your future responsibilities
 
You’ll join the Fund Reporting team in Nordea Asset Management Middle Office where we are responsible for most official reporting when it comes to the Nordea Funds. The team works in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment with a constant need for development to meet the requirements from the business and regulators. The team is a centralized unit of seven employees based in Stockholm which serves stakeholders in all Nordic countries as well as Luxemburg.  
 
What you’ll be doing:  
 
  • Interpretation and implementation of new reporting requirements and calculations. E.g. Carbon Footprint, ESG, MiFID, PRIIPS, Annual Legal Reports for funds.  
  • Develop and design new reports – both ad hoc and production  
  • Specify and build new internal analysis models  
  • Specify and develop new data interfaces  
  • Designing and build new elements in the database  
  • Enhancing the current Datawarehouse solution  
  • Handling/resolving problems and errors in the production team  
Welcome to a team that is made up of highly experienced members who combine their IT skills with knowledge of the asset management industry to perform data analysis and interpretation when developing and maintaining formulations, calculations of key figures and ratios to satisfy reporting requirements. Furthermore, the team is involved in maintaining the IT infrastructure, data deliveries, data queries, data handling and dissemination.

We are looking for a candidate with previous experience of working within the financial or asset management industry, with a track record of delivering data analysis solutions and building reports to business specification, to a high quality, in a demanding environment and to set deadlines 
 
You have a proven track record of effective stakeholder management and can communicate effectively with all stakeholders across a wide value change. You are service minded and take ownership, when working with and assisting your colleagues across the business.  
 
As a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills you are, comfortable interacting with a wide range of stakeholders across different functions and countries on a daily basis. 
 
Your background:
 
  • Bachelor level or higher degree in Computer Science, Economics or similar 
  • Strong programming skills 
  • Database modelling skills & query design 
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, MS Excel in particular 
  • Experience of transforming user requirements into data needs, reports and calculations 
  • Report design and specification skills 
  • Knowledge of statistical models used in finance 
  • Proactive and self-driven with an ability to demonstrate the will/courage to take ownership of assignments 
  • Proficiency in a Nordic language as well as English is required 
  • Fundamental knowledge of and strong interest in financial markets as well as the Asset Management industry
