Hedvig is a recently launched startup on a mission to make insurance a delightful good, rather than a necessary bad. We are extremely product-focused and have put artificial intelligence at the core of what we do to deliver awesome user experiences. And oh, by the way, the proceeds that are not used to cover claims goes to a charity of the user’s choice. This is next generation insurance.

We are a small but growing team and are now looking for an awesome UX designer to join! Someone who is passionate about working with people to turn insights and ideas into seamless experiences, and is excited to roll up their sleeves and join a fast moving startup.

What you’ll do

• You will have a holistic focus on the whole user experience.
• You’ll be working across the entire product lifecycle, from product discovery to product development and through multiple product iterations.
• You’ll be testing and iterating on design solutions with real world feedback and data – meeting users in their environment on a regular basis.

Who you are

• You have a few years of related experience building intuitive flows in consumer-focused products. Mobile is a plus.
• Things move fast so we expect you to be able to work autonomously and take ownership of your work all the way to the finish line.
• You truly love design work and you’re excited to grow together with Hedvig.
• Confident about being an ambassador for users and sharing user insights within the company.
• Actively seeking user feedback to adapt your design decisions.
• Able to communicate design decisions clearly with the team.
