iOS Summer Internship

We are looking for an aspiring iOS developer who wants to help transform the insurance industry with new tech and great design! We are a currently a small team of native application developers at Hedvig and want to grow.

In line with our core value of providing remarkable customer experiences, we have made the decision to transition away from our current application stack based on React Native and instead pursue true native development for both Android and iOS. We are looking for an experienced iOS developer to join the iOS team.

We are looking for interns to join our team for 8-12 weeks during June-August.

What we do 

As application developers at Hedvig we:

• Work closely with product and design to define how we build the best possible experience for our users.
• Handle the entire life-cycle of the application development: design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Experiment with new technologies.
• Contribute to Open Source, in fact, all of our code is available on Github.

About you

Must haves

• You have some experience with Swift.
• Open to learn a reactive approach to building iOS apps.
• You love great design and to build beautiful things.
• You know the ins-and-outs of UIKit.
• You are comfortable with AutoLayout.

Nice to haves

• You have worked with reactive technologies, i.e RxSwift or similar.
• You have experience with protocol oriented Swift.
• Interested in TDD, or has experience with TDD.
