We are looking for another developer to join us in Stockholm. Here you will be part of a team of people who have backgrounds in User Experience Design, Development, Testing, Project Lead and Sales but who have been trained in accessibility. Start off with some training yourself and join one of our existing project! We are currently helping to build a school platform for the special needs curriculum, and a dating app for people with intellectual disabilities. Our last project was www.funkify.org.
You will officially be an IT consultant with expert knowledge in Digital Accessibility, but if you don't feel like an expert on "a11y" yet, that's fine. We do need skilled front-end developers though, so if you don't feel like an expert in that there may be better jobs to apply for.
This company is a bit unusual though: your job description in this organisation will always be the same:
"Search for the most meaningful job to do. Do it."
All of your colleagues have the same description. Since you are likely strongest in the software development area you will probably find it most meaningful to help us with our current development projects that we do for other customers. After they are done, it may be more meaningful to study up on some new tech or learn more accessibility, before helping the sales group send out some CVs to get us new consulting jobs or arrange the summer party with the Event group. When new in-house projects appear, it is your job to decide what your most meaningful role would be, and do it as effectively as you can.
This is a company where you can grow into any role you personally align with, and it is your responsibility to do so. You will have the power and resources at your hand. The only thing we have in common is that whatever software we produce or test - we make it accessible!
After the first couple of weeks no one will tell you exactly what to do, but we are all here to help, and to give suggestions if you want them.

Don't like the tech-stack? Change it for your next project! We are more interested in finding the right people, as technology can be learned!
You have to find Accessible Technology interesting!
This companies purpose is to make the digital world more accessible to people with disabilities. It probably won't change soon, so if you don't want to do that, then there are other jobs that may suit you better :)
