Product Developer to our Beauty Team i Stockholm

We have a production office for beauty products situated in Stockholm. Here we develop make up/body/hair products, for production in different countries in Europe. Now there is an opportunity for a Product Developer to join our production team in Stockholm.

You will drive the developments for the best product in close collaboration with our suppliers based on the vision from our Buying office and securing the best deal for H&M’s Beauty assortment.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Secure all new developments, including price negotiation, based on brief from Buying Office, securing the time line and best product for our customer.
  
• Secure that the brief is correct before involving the supplier.
  
• Identify new innovations from suppliers and fairs.
  
• Drive pre-developments based on market trend and request from Buying Office.
  
• Understand the customer and the concept as well as trends from Buying Office.
  
• Participate in product risk assessment during the product development.
  
• Follow closely trend competitors and what is going on in the cosmetic market.

We are looking for you who:

• Have at least 3 years of work experience in the cosmetic industry
  
• Is a Make-up artist or similar
  
• Have strong knowledge in formula and packaging
  
• Have good understanding of production processes and experience of working closely with suppliers
  
• Have strong skills in interpretation of design concepts and can drive the development all the way to final product
  
• Have an environmentally conscious understanding
  
• Work proactively to foresee problems in production
  
• Have strong problem solving skills and is solution oriented.
  
• Have a positive and can-do attitude
  
• Are flexible and a team player
  
• Are fluent in English

This is a one-year project starting as soon as possible, based at our Production Office in Stockholm.
