Within Swedbank, Large Corporates & Institutions (LC&I) is the business area that carries the client responsibility for large corporate- and institutional clients, as well as the responsibility for all trading and capital markets products offered by the bank. We run one of the Nordic-Baltic region's leading Investment Banking operations, advising a broad range of clients on financing and strategic issues on an every day basis. Swedbank Markets provides our clients with advisory, risk management, liquidity, and efficient distribution. The unit encompasses all sales and trading activities across a wide range of products.

We have offices in Stockholm, Oslo, Helsinki, NYC, Shanghai, Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius.

Swedbank Markets and Investment Banking within LC&I are looking for a group of talented graduates and young professionals with a clear drive, high ambitions and a strong will to make a difference.

Although your placement will ultimately be in either Markets or Investment Banking, you will also be offered an introductory period of training and rotation that will broaden your knowledge and understanding of LC&I and Swedbank. We see this introduction as an investment in our shared future.

From day one you will be placed in one of the following teams:

Markets:

• Risk Advisory
• Quant team
• Fixed Income Sales
• FX Sales

Investment Banking:

• Debt Capital Markets
• Structured Finance
• Corporate Finance
• Loans & Syndications
  
  

We are looking for candidates who have recently graduated or will be graduating no later than June 2019. We value individuals who cooperate well in a team and have strong work ethics and – of course – a strong interest in working in the capital markets industry.

We expect you to have:

• A strong academic record (focusing on technical science, engineering, finance, accounting and/or economics)
• Interest and/or knowledge of the financial markets
• Less than 2 years of working experience
• An analytical approach and quantitative skills, combined with a practical outlook, high work capacity and a flexible and commercial attitude
• Sales skills, good at building long-lasting relationships
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Swedish
• Ability to explain complex topics in clear and simple terms
