We are looking for a head of Business Continuity Management (BCM) to Risk Processes & Operations in Global Business Risk Implementation & Support (BRIS). This is an opportunity for you to lead a team which supports us in obtaining and maintaining a strong risk specialist service.

Your future responsibilities
 
You’ll join Global Business Risk Implementation and Support (BRIS) where we aim to take risk management in Nordea to the next level by centralising common processes and aligning the way we work with the management of non-financial risks, such as compliance and operational risks in Nordea.
 
BCM team is responsible for developing and maintaining the Business Continuity and Crisis Management guidelines, providing processes, controls and tools to manage business continuity risks. The team is also responsible for BCM reporting and business support.
 
What you’ll be doing: 
 
  • Lead and develop the team of Business Continuity Management Specialists  
  • Drive transformation to increase BCM maturity in order to reach BCM 2.0 with value chain approach 
  • Improve and simplify the current Crisis Management setup 
  • Drive the BC&CM tool and process development initiatives 
  • Business Senior stakeholder management to ensure business value creation 
  • Proactively engage with key stakeholders covering the whole value chain from IT to Business 
  • Successfully collaborate with 2nd and 3rd Line of Defence and the regulators  
The role is based in Helsinki, Stockholm or Copenhagen.

Your profile and background: 
 
  • Relevant university degree e.g. law, finance, economics or similar 
  • 10+ years of relevant experience for example from operational risk management, compliance or audit function 
  • Good understanding of the business continuity management and wide risk management understanding 
  • Professional proven leadership skills  
  • Experience in leading change and projects  
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills 
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent skills in English - written and spoken
