Business Modeller ETEL Back Office – Product Configuration i Sodertalje

Product Configuration is a department with the mission to provide sales and presales functions around the world with configurable product structures for trucks and buses, as well as efficient tools to enable complete solution sales. Today our group consists of fourteen people and we are now looking for a new person to be part of our ETEL Back Office team.

Work description
In the role as Business Modeller within the ETEL Back Office team, you will develop technical and commercial solutions to be used in Scania’s sales and presales tools, to improve our sophisticated way of  configure products and services even more. By identifying needs from distributors and the sales force as well as internally from Scania R&D and Sales and Marketing, you will model solutions that in the end will be tested and implemented in close cooperation with our distributors. You will have the opportunity together with the rest of the team to decide on what short-term solutions are most efficient to implement, while also being part of setting the long-term strategy for future configuration solutions.

The daily tasks vary and besides the central modelling work another important task to be carried out is to support our presales functions around the world in their daily ETEL Back Office work. This means that you will help them developing and maintaining their own product portfolios, while also help with modelling support to meet local demands on operational data driven configurations. All in all you will both need to have the overall view of the sales and back office tools as well as be the expert on the details.

This position provides great opportunity to get in contact with many different parts of the Scania organisation. As the users are positioned all over the world, you will have frequent international contacts and the possibility to travel.

Profile
Analytical skills, a structured approach and the understanding of how the small details affect the bigger picture are required. You have good communication skills and like to work cross functional.
As a person you are curious, a “doer” and problem solving comes natural to you. You are motivated by finding the best solution for the customer, and improving the processes.

An academic degree in business, engineering or equivalent is required as well as a good level of English. Technical interest is an advantage, but the most important qualities are personality and mind set.
