Credit Research Analyst i Stockholm

Swedbank's offers corporate and investment banking services to companies and investors in the Nordic and Baltic region. In 2017 Swedbank entered into a strategic partnership with leading European equity house Kepler Cheuvreux, strengthening its ECM and DCM position by allowing for significantly expanded company coverage and better distribution power.

The Credit Research unit is part of the Investment Banking department in Swedbank. We are a compact team with little hierarchy, and you are guaranteed to be given a great deal of responsibility from day 1. This means producing research material on the companies and sectors you cover, presenting research and ideas for the internal sales departments, and being a discussion partner for investors and management in bond issuing companies. All of the above with support from and in close collaboration with your colleagues in the credit and macro research teams, as well as the equity analysts in Kepler Cheuvreux.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Financial modelling
• Prepare research material (reports, presentations, etc.) related to new bond issues, and/or to motivate trades in the secondary market
• Discuss sectors, specific companies or ideas with both issuers and investors across our global network
• Present research or sector/company relevant news in local morning meetings
  
  

• Keen interest in financial markets in general, and debt capital markets in particular
• Be comfortable with doing some travelling to meet issuers and investors not located in Stockholm
• BSc/MSc degree in finance, economics and/or business administration
• 1-4 years of experience from financial research / capital markets or similar would be considered an advantage, but not a requirement
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English
• Be outgoing and possess a strong drive to succeed
• Be a team player with high integrity and strong social competence who can handle a fast-paced and challenging work environment
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office
