Instabox is a tech startup that wants to change the logistics industry. We think it should be easy to shop online and offer our customers a fast and smooth shipping service - all in order to make everyday life easier. We want our customers to be able to shop from any of our e-commerce partners and pick up their products in one of our +200 smart boxes - all in the same day. Does this sound too good to be true? Might sound so, but it is all possible by the fact that we are developing our own software.

Instabox is a fast growing company and we are now looking for driven Developers who want to be part of our journey - breaking new land within the fields of e-commerce and logistics. As a startup we are building our own systems and products from scratch, using modern technology for our cost-effective delivery method. Since we are developing our own technology we can control everything from architecture to technology choices. We break new ground on a daily basis and the aim has been set high.

Job Description

In order to be able to deliver a good shipping experience, we are looking for you who want to be involved in building our logistics systems. As we build everything in-house, you will be part of projects like developing our app for our drivers, systems for our route planning and sorting systems. You will work closely with our Operations Department, which is the core of our business. In your role as a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our shipping and logistics service is as efficient and innovative as possible - with new technology and groundbreaking systems. You will work in Nodejs, MongoDB, Elasticsearch and MQTT.

Who are we looking for?

• You love to code and are passionate about building effective systems and to create something from scratch.
• It is an advantage if you have a Bsc or Msc in Computer Science or related discipline.
• You have been working in Nodejs and MongoDB and it is an advantage if you have good knowledge in Python.
• At least 3 years experience as a Backend Developer.
• You like to work with a holistic view where you also bring the hardware into focus.
• Good English skills, verbally and written.

As a person you like to take own initiatives and to work result-oriented. You have good analytical and problem solving skills - always striving to find new solutions. You are a driven team player that enjoys working but also to have fun while doing it.

As Instabox is a fast-moving company, you should like to learn new things and not be afraid of exploring new areas. Working for a startup company, you should be comfortable in a flexible and fast-paced organization.

You will work closely with our Developers who are all passionate about building our products. Our office is located at Slussen where you will sit together with other driven Developers. Our Tech team consists of 13 people and you will report to CTO.
