Being a Sales and Marketing Manager you will be given a highly visible and important role in the organization. The position can be located in Västerås or Borås.

Your responsibilities
  • Developing the global business within ABB as well as with our end customers.
  • Leading a Sales team of 5 skilled colleagues - most of them located in Borås.
  • Working with the team towards common goals with the responsibility for improving sales processes as well as holding financial responsibility.
  • Working cross-functionally and being part of our management team.
  • Defining and implementing effective sales and business-development initiatives in alignment with global strategy.
  • Identifying new business opportunities among current and prospective customers as well as clear strategies to convert them.
  • Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your background
  • A degree within the technical area.
  • Experience of at least five years from product sales and that you have developed your leadership skills in global matrix organizations within sales.
  • Experience from business to business sales and ability to demonstrate that you can grow successful customer relations.
  • Being a confident leader and having leadership skills, are vital for a successful candidate.
  • Building your leadership on trust, collaboration and great communication.
  • Being an analytical person who can grasp both the big picture as well as pay attention to details and focus on continuous improvements comes naturally to you
  • Taking ownership of your areas of responsibility and being self-sufficient as well as a team player.
  • Fluency in English and Swedish is a must, written and spoken alike.
