Group Payment Infrastructure is responsible for four home markets with the purpose to develop competitive and innovative products, work efficiency and ensure long-term revenue growth.
One of our responsibilities is to support both Group Payment Infrastructure and Group Cash Management in their development of solutions and products for daily banking and cash management, providing a balanced risk profile and business driven compliance based on established efficient processes and risk tools.

You will be part of the Risk and Process efficiency team, working with Operational Risk with the following focus areas:

  • Facilitate and lead risk and control self-assessment to increase risk awareness and proactive risk mitigation
  • Incident handling
  • Map and monitor the unit´s critical processes
  • Support implementation of policies, directives and instructions
  • Monitor and report operational risk issues
  • Internal Audit and External Audit follow up regarding audit findings
  • Establish, follow up and co-ordinate compliance within NPAP (New Product Approval Process)
  • Support in ad-hoc assignments
  • Facilitate and execute relevant change and improvement activities within the operational risk area.

You will plan, manage and execute activities as well as manage stakeholder expectations.

This role will also be responsible for increasing risk awareness and continuously mitigate risks, as well as developing and improving the operational risk management within our area. The role will imply contact and collaboration with multiple units within Large Corporate & Institutions (LC&I) and cross Swedbank Group, and you will report to Head of Risk and Process efficiency GPI.

What you need to succeed

To be suited for this position, you need to be driven by results and have deep knowledge in payment products. You have a solution-oriented mindset and "can do" attitude and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience.

You have a strong interest in the operational risk area, especially in securing execution of activities to manage and mitigate operational risks. You have a relevant academic degree with a strong record, as well as excellent skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.).

The position also requires strong oral and written communication skills. Last but not least, you manifest openness, simplicity and care in your everyday work.
