The H&M Group is a global leading fashion retailer operating in 66 markets with six brands; H&M, COS, Monki, Weekday, Cheap Monday and & Other Stories. In 2016 we opened over 420 new stores and entered three new markets, making a current total of over 4500 stores worldwide.
The Global Construction Department is responsible for the construction process of our store projects, from initial project planning and preparation through to the store opening. The Global Construction department manages several hundred store projects every year, accounting for a big part of the group’s investments and is a part of the Global Expansion Team, which is responsible for all aspects of creating our H&M stores, i.e., to lease, design, draw, buy and build each store. This covers new stores as well as re-building of existing stores.
As Regional Responsible in the Global Construction team you are reporting to the Head of Global Construction and are responsible for a group of countries. Within the group of countries, the main responsibilities are:
In addition to working closely with our teams located in the country organizations, as a Regional Construction Responsible you work closely with colleagues from Leasing, Interior Purchase, Facility Store Planning & other teams located in Stockholm.
