In our department for Crushing Performance Research, which is part of Crushing and Screening R&D, we work with Computer-aided engineering (CAE). Crushing Performance Research is also focused on the research and development of materials, crushing chambers, hydraulics, and crushing and screening processes, so we are a team with a wide variety of competencies. We are now looking for a CAE Engineer to join us, and we offer a great opportunity to interact in an international environment, as well as to grow your competence in the mechanical design of truly heavy equipment. The location for this position is Svedala, Sweden.

Job Summary

As a CAE Engineer, you are responsiblefor modeling and simulation of machines with the aim of ensuring structural and operational quality. Performing, validating and improving FEM calculations are major parts of our daily work, and you work in close cooperation with other parts of the company, such as Mechanical Design, Quality and Production. You are a part of and play an important role in the product development process and will be involved in everything from the first idea through validation of the product at the customer's site. You are also involved in a variety of tasks, such as product verification, quality work and root cause analyses.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Physics or a similar field, or equivalent and relevant knowledge gained through previous experience, and at least two years working with calculations. You are familiar with finite element analysis (FEA), preferably Hyperworks. It is an advantage if you have knowledge about fatigue analysis and design of parts made of cast steel. You have good communication skills in English, in both writing and speaking, while knowledge of Swedish is advantageous.
